Dogfish Pints & Paddles

What could be better than a day on the Broadkill River ending with a tour and taste of the famous “off-centered” Dogfish Head Brewery.  This tour is an easy out and back paddle upon the scenic Broadkill River of the historic ship-building town of Milton DE.  You will be amazed by the wildlife of Great Blue Herons, ducks, ospreys, woodpeckers, turtles and deer.  The experience of watching the seasons change from spring, summer to autumn, along with the variety and seasonal brews of Dogfish always makes this trip beautiful and fun throughout the year.

Dolphin Tour

Paddle up close and personal with the Atlantic Bottle Nose Dolphins.  The tour will start from The Cape Henlopen State Park and paddle from the Delaware Bay, around the Cape Henlopen Point and into the Atlantic Ocean.  The dolphins tend to be just as curious and excited of us as we are of them often surrounding and jumping within feet of the kayaks.  Besides being escorted by dolphins, we will also paddle by a few lighthouses that have guided and protected our boats for over 100 years. The tour ends with the adventure of surfing a few waves into shore.

Sunset Tour

One of our personal favorites, the Sunset Tour arrival time is generally based on the time of the sunset. This paddle is a Delaware Bay launch and Lewes Canal landing or vice versa according to the tides on that day. This tour typically lasts approximately 2-3 hours from our starting point at the Kayak Shack to the arrival back at the shack. Transportation is provided to and from the launch and landing as well as a paddle intro and general information about the area.

::Duration - 90 Minutes
